NEDA & EtonBridge Partners would like to invite you to a private dinner on Thursday 23rd May 2019 with guest speaker Rob Woodward to discuss “The Transition from CEO to Chair: The Practical Challenge”.

Rob has extensive experience in operating at the highest levels in industry, commerce and Government. A proven leader with a track record in delivering successful outcomes in a variety of challenging environments and complex situations, impressively, Rob Woodward is currently Chair of multiple companies.

In March 2018 he was appointed as Chair of Court of Glasgow Caledonian University, and he is also Chair of the technology company Blancco plc; in May 2018 was appointed Chair of Ebiquity plc.

He was also appointed by the Scottish Government as Chair of the Developing Young Workforce Group, leading on to support employer involvement in developing Scotland's young workforce. In 2017 he became a Commissioner of the Northern Lighthouse, and additionally Rob holds the title of Chair of The MET Office.

Formerly CEO of STV Group plc and founding Trustee of the STV Children’s appeal, Rob led the turnaround of the company and positioned STV as Scotland’s leading commercial digital media company before leaving in December 2017. Prior to this, Rob was Pro-Chancellor and Chair of the Council of City, University of London from February 2012 to February 2018.
