The joint NEDA and Women on Boards NED Competencies Masterclass gives guidance, best practice and instruction on some of the key elements and latest developments relevant to Board Directors and NEDs.
The more time one spends as a non-executive board member, the more one appreciates the complexity of the role. This masterclass aims to cover both the hard and soft skills involved in being an NED or Trustee and provide time to reflect on and discuss common topics and challenges.

- Corporate Governance
- A review and update of the latest trends, developments and practical applications

- The board in action considering board balance, diversity and performance, including essential attributes
- Risk in the Boardroom
- An overview of what good risk management looks like with an insight into leading practice ideas
- Case studies and interactive discussions are used throughout the session
