The NED Certificate Bundle
NEDA is the member organisation for Non-Executive Directors. It was established in 2007 to raise the quality of NEDs performance in the boardroom by representing and supporting them through training, development, knowledge and certification as part of their continuing professional development.
NEDA is committed to promote effective and responsible corporate governance fit for the future. We need highly qualified NEDs coming from a wider gene pool, but also an ability to effectively embed diversity of thought on boards to make a real shift towards stakeholder governance, which ultimately is essential for the survival of our society and planet.
We support and promote the individual NED through their 'life-cycle' and deliver services that help NEDs navigate their role from initial planning through to resignation or retirement.
We work with organisations to help train and educate their NEDs and board, consider the best approach to recruitment and independently evaluate the performance of the board at each level.

You are invited to join Willis Towers Watson on Wednesday 30 September for the first in a series of webinars looking at the topic of ‘Why ESG is an increasing exposure for Directors & Officers’. This is the first of a three-part webinar series that will focus on the potential liabilities resulting from the “E”, the “S” and the “G” in turn.
This board-focused training course is run in association the IRM. The course is run in central London at the IRM Offices in Fenchurch Street.
The session, led by The Non-Executive Directors’ Association (‘NEDA’), covers a breadth of essential topics including: Director rights and duties, the role of NEDS, NEDs and boards, the chairman and board committees, updates on corporate governance, business strategy and risk management, evolving good practices in board performance as well as exploring aspects of company culture and leadership styles.
