Ned Updates

We run regular NED Updates that cover topical, relevant issues to NEDs.  All Organisation Members of NEDA are welcome to attend these updates.

NEDA hosts a number of NED Updates, through the year with our sponsors and partners.  These include:

• Our flagship NED Debate - Previous Motions have included “This House believes that NEDs are failing to hold the executive to account” and “This house believes that board performance evaluation is failing to improve effectiveness in the boardroom”

• The annual Contemporary NED Event, held since 2013, recent events have looked at topical issues including Artificial Intelligence, The NEDs role in the growth agenda and the rise of digital.

• Legal Updates, looking at current issues including - The New Corporate Governance Code, Director Disqualifications and Shareholder Activism.

• The Annual NED Awards, NEDA worked with Peel Hunt to establish the Awards and has been a key sponsor since it was founded in 2006.
