The latest roundtable discussion from Chapter Zero will explore the interconnectivity between climate and nature, guiding NEDs on integrating essential frameworks for Audit Committees.
Chapter Zero’s series of roundtable discussions, in partnership with Accounting for Sustainability (A4S), explores the most relevant evolving topics Audit Committee Chairs need to know.
This third session will focus on the critical interconnectivity between climate and nature, particularly highlighting the importance of frameworks under the Taskforce on Nature-related Financial Disclosures (TNFD) and the Taskforce on Climate-related Financial Disclosures (TCFD).
These frameworks share common fundamentals from the perspectives of Audit Committees and Boards. The discussion will provide guidance on effectively integrating disclosures into the Audit Committee’s oversight functions.
This event is a chance to bring together NEDs and like-minded individuals, tackling common challenges such as meeting stakeholder expectations, avoiding greenwashing, and empowering Audit Committees to oversee and guide their organisations in effectively implementing the TNFD framework.
The event offers essential skills for overseeing and guiding organisations towards more sustainable interactions with nature, together with expert speakers and chances for small, interactive group discussions.
