While AI and sustainability have each commanded unprecedented board-level attention, their convergence is fast creating a new frontier of both risk and opportunity. The effective governance of this relationship is now a strategic imperative.

In the first event of Chapter Zero's new series ‘What does the future hold? Boards and the future of climate action’, Vicky Moffatt, Chief Executive of Chapter Zero, will be joined by Emily Chien, Harvard Business School Executive Fellow, an accomplished technologist and strategic leader with 30 years experience in the intersection of artificial intelligence (AI), sustainability, business value creation and corporate governance.

Vicky and Emily will explore the role of AI in accelerating the transition to a net-zero economy, and the key governance implications for board oversight.

The event will feature a live recorded conversation and audience Q&A, followed by networking drinks, offering attendees a chance to exchange ideas with fellow board directors whose boards are actively engaging with AI, sustainability and governance as key strategic topics.

About the series:

Designed exclusively for board members, this new series will feature Vicky Moffatt (Chapter Zero CEO) in conversation with leading international experts as they discuss the future of climate and sustainability, and how emerging trends are shaping boardroom decision-making and oversight.
