In today’s turbulent world, businesses face a myriad of existential changes. This year’s CMS Boardroom Conference will examine key critical issues affecting businesses at a senior level, such as the impact of new governments in the UK and elsewhere, culture and diversity, climate and sustainability concerns, advances in technology, shifting demographics and behaviours and threats to London’s position as a pre-eminent financial centre.
CMS' panel of industry leaders will share their insights on how these factors are influencing their businesses, and discuss the strategies they employ to navigate and harness the benefits of those changes.
This year's keynote speaker, Dame Sharon White, was the first ever female chair of the John Lewis Partnership, where she successfully led the Partnership through the pandemic and back to profit.
Her distinguished career also includes serving as Chief Executive of Ofcom, where she managed the organisation through a significant period of change, as well as holding senior positions at the Treasury, the Ministry of Justice, the Department for International Development and the World Bank, amongst others.
Dame White will be joining CDPQ, one of Canada's largest pension funds, as Managing Director and Head of Europe at the end of January 2025, when she will also be taking on the role of Chair at Frontier Economics.
The event will no doubt be an interesting and informative morning for NEDs and board members, as well as an excellent opportunity to expand your network.
