Event Invitation
You are invited to the WTW and NEDA webinar on Wednesday, 15 June 2022. Join our panel who will discuss the latest perspectives on Cyber Security risks facing boards as they navigate their course in 2022.
Cyber Security today is no longer simply a technology risk for the IT department to handle. A cyber breach can affect your ability to operate and cost you a ‘king’s ransom’. It can also have far-reaching consequences that affect your reputation and brand long after the breach itself is resolved.
The recently published WTW Directors’ Liability Survey 2022 (April 2022) has highlighted the scale of Cyber Security risk, as the top three business risks that concern boards globally are all Cyber-related: 1. Cyber Attack, 2. Data Loss and 3. Cyber Extortion – the latter being a new risk area identified for 2022.
We are keen that you come to learn about the latest developments and trends that boards are now dealing with – the session will cover:
- A review of the WTW Directors’ Liability Survey 2022, as noted above
- The latest views from the UK National Cyber Security Centre
- Practical real-life perspectives from an experienced CISO
- How boards are currently dealing with Cyber risks, especially how NEDs are taking the lead in supporting executive teams in the front line
The session will be led by Graham Durgan, Chair at NEDA, and will consider the views and insight from Glyn Thoms - Executive Director, FINEX, WTW, Business Lead Executive – National Cyber Security Centre, Ryan Smith – CISO, FSP and Sharon Baylay-Bell - Portfolio NED with roles at W.A. G Plc, Driveworks, FSP, Unique X, Restore Plc who will provide a sense-check on how boards are preparing for the future.
