In collaboration with HSBC, this seminar will give non-executive directors of financial institutions an overview of the climate risk reporting frameworks that exist worldwide.
The session will focus on the recommendations set by the Task Force on Climate-related Financial Disclosures (‘TCFD’), which is endorsed by many policymakers, and is becoming mandatory in several countries. Through an interactive workshop, we will discuss best practices as well as the challenges that TCFD presents for the financial sector.
This event will be moderated by Francesca Tondi Guy, former banker, and non-executive director and ESG Committee Chair of UniCredit, with contributors Neil Stevenson, Director, Audit & Assurance Deloitte LLP and Alan N. Smith, Senior Advisor on Climate and ESG Risk Management, HSBC.
