This year, the Institute of Business Ethics will be launching the results of the seventh triennial survey of employees from around the world, exploring views on ethics in the workplace.
Are employees prepared to speak up about misconduct? How common is retaliation against those who have spoken up? Do they feel directly or indirectly pressured to compromise their employer's ethical values to get results?
Covering a diverse range of 12,000 global employees from 16 countries in six continents, the survey aims to reveal:
- Employee attitudes towards, and perceptions of, ethics in the workplace
- Trends and developments through comparisons with data from the IBE’s previous surveys
- How business ethics is viewed and understood by employees in different countries
The in-person event, hosted by BDO, will not only explore the results and background with a panel of senior ethics and compliance practitioners, but also offer an opportunity for NEDs and industry experts to discuss the survey at the post-event networking reception.
