About the speakers:
- Oliver Cummings - Enter the Boardroom Host. Nurole CEO, Investor, and Board Member. Before Nurole, he spent over a decade in private equity, including as the youngest-ever Partner at BXR Partners and at Goldman Sachs Capital Partners.
- James McMillan - Founder, Audeo Fortis. James is a portfolio director encompassing NED, board advisory, and fractional strategic finance roles through his consultancy Audeo Fortis. His first board role in 2019 for a dual regulated credit union led to him being named the Institute of Directors Director of the Year 2020 in the North-West and Isle of Man Non-Executive category, making him the youngest recipient in the history of the awards. Since then he has held formal NED and advisory positions in start-ups and scale-ups including e-commerce, social impact measurement, and a digital agency.
- Annette Minihan - Executive Career Coach, Board Member, Founder of Careers Unpacked. Annette is an executive career coach and former global recruitment leader who has spent two decades helping senior professionals secure leadership roles, including non-executive directorships. - Facilitator: Peter van Veen - Director, Corporate Governance & Stewardship, ICAEW Peter is the Director of Corporate Governance & Stewardship at the ICAEW where he is responsible for thought leadership and policy in these areas. Prior to joining the ICAEW, he was the Chief Ethics & Compliance Officer for several multinational enterprises headquartered in respectively the Netherlands, France and Japan. Prior to these roles, Peter spent over 6 years at Transparency International UK (TI-UK) where set up the Business Integrity Programme.
