NED Breakfast Update
in association with Hogan Lovells and the Competition & Markets Authority
The role of the board is under more scrutiny than ever before and the value of good non-executives is central to an effective board. Non-Executive Directors appointed to any board must have the right experience, expertise and personal qualities to enable them to carry out their role effectively.
This interactive update hosted by Hogan Lovells International and supported by the Competition & Markets Authority (‘CMA’), provides Non-Executive Directors with the latest developments in a key reputational risk area of competition law risk, as well as the opportunity to network with other NEDs.
Hogan Lovell’s expert team will provide a topical technical update, a senior NED will give their personal perspective and a speaker from the CMA will give insight into their recent work on updating guidance for company directors and their advisers on how to avoid disqualification, given recent important cases.
Further details of the Agenda will follow in due course. Overview details are summarised below.
