Generative AI continues to dominate headlines offering seemingly limitless efficiency, productivity and value-add upside. Yet navigating the rapidly evolving landscape can be daunting for boards who are often left asking the question ‘Where do we start?!’
International law firm CMS are committed to being at the forefront of innovation, AI and legal tech.
They want to be known by their clients as being future facing – and for AI that means having access to and using the best AI tools to help make them smarter, having industry leading expertise to be able to advise clients on AI and tech challenges, and everyone at CMS knowing about and leveraging AI and other tools to help their clients.
How is CMS using AI?
CMS has been experimenting and testing a number of generative AI tools and platforms, including Harvey AI, along with some of the consumer chatbot tools. They are also part of the early access programmes for a number of existing suppliers generative AI features, including Kira, Avail and Lexis+ AI.
CMS has also developed its own internal chatbot, that utilises the Microsoft Azure OpenAI connector – all within its secure Microsoft cloud environment.
Most excitingly, CMS has been part of the Microsoft 365 Copilot Early Access Program since August 2023. CMS was one of only 600 organisations globally to join the Early Access Program for the launch of the Microsoft 365 Copilot system.
