Board meetings have been run in a variety of physical locations, including an increasing number via conference call or video conferencing arrangements. However, since March 2020 the ‘new normal’ has been to hold virtual meetings, which brings new challenges and new demands.
This in turn has also led to holding an increasing number of meetings in order to keep up with rapid market developments, changes needed to business models and strategic plans, and the adoption of new government policies or initiatives.
