FT-ICSA Boardroom Bellwether Report: Winter 2016

The 2016 Winter FT–ICSA Boardroom Bellwether Report canvasses the views of the company secretaries of the FTSE 350 to find out how boards are addressing the challenges of the economy and market conditions.

In overview the results reveal:

• 92% of respondents will not move their business from the UK to the EU following Brexit.
• Just 22% of the companies that responded consider their board to be ethnically diverse.
• Only 8% of respondents anticipate improvement in the UK economy.
• 48% have not achieved Lord Davies’ target for women on boards.
• 80% of the companies that responded consider their exposure to cyber risk to be increasing.
