Event details:
What can we learn from the 2020 Annual Report season and what can we expect for the current year?
2020’s Annual Reports from UK companies have marked a step change in the disclosure of ESG considerations generally, and climate risk specifically.
With mandatory TCFD reporting expected across all parts of the economy by 2025, this event will address the practical considerations non-executive directors need to be aware of with the evolution of climate reporting and disclosure over the next few years.
The Financial Reporting Council (FRC) will provide a regulatory perspective, with practical advice for boards on reporting. We will also hear from a company that has recently created the position of Head of TCFD Implementation – a new role for the business and part of its approach to enhancing internal governance and risk management processes.
The event will be moderated by Carol Bell, a co-founder of Chapter Zero and an experienced board member who will guide the discussion and navigate the different perspectives around climate reporting.
ChapterZero are running this event in collaboration with Emperor, sustainability reporting consultants.
