Working in association with FTS Cayman Islands NEDA helped to deliver a half-day board director programme at the Grand Cayman Marriott Beach Resort.
The seminar was designed specifically for local directors, especially those who have recently taken on or are considering future roles as independent non-executive board directors. Over fifty attendees drawn from a range of corporates, fund managers and trust organisations engaged in presentations that considered the latest trends and developments as summarised below:

- Risk Management and the NED’s Role, by Louis Cooper, CEO, Non-Executive Directors' Association
- AML Board Oversight Framework: Understanding a NED’s role in a typical AML policy framework, by Paul Byles, Director, FTS.
The presentations were followed by a very interactive Q&A panel session.
